Job summary

US Tech Solutions is seeking a hands-on Flow Cytometry Technician to operate and maintain flow cytometers and cell sorters in a 12-month onsite contract in South San Francisco. You will design multiparameter panels for conventional and spectral cytometry and provide user training in a high-throughput shared lab environment.

The role requires strong punctuality, teamwork with scientists, and proactive instrument troubleshooting to help users complete experiments successfully.

Qualifications

• Hands-on flow cytometry experience required.
• Experience supporting cell sorting, cytometer startup/shutdown, and maintenance.
• Comfort in a shared-resource or service-based lab environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain flow cytometry analyzers and cell sorters, including setup, QC, monitoring runs and routine maintenance.
• Design and optimize multiparameter panels for conventional and full-spectrum cytometry.
• Provide user training and support in a high-throughput shared lab while ensuring BSL-2+ safety compliance.
