Job summary

Target is hiring a Production Controller for the Flow Center in Hampton, GA. The role focuses on staffing, planning, and ensuring timely processing of merchandise to stores and guests.

You will help executives understand staffing impacts, manage freight flow, and solve daily and weekly financial variances. As a primary facilitator, you will monitor in-process backlogs, ensure balanced staffing, and support business plan development using trend data and reporting tools.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree or equivalent experience required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven ability to motivate teams and manage conflict.
• Proficient in basic PC applications and office software.

Responsibilities

• Staffing, planning and achieving building goals to ensure timely processing of merchandise.
• Educate executives on staffing importance, balanced freight flow and throughput commitments.
• Monitor plans and in-process backlogs to inform future planning.
• Lead operational huddles and collaborate with leadership to drive KPIs.
• Support development of business plans using trends and reporting tools.
