Job summary

Evolutionary Healthcare in Florida is seeking a passionate Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT) Physician to join their post-acute care team. Qualifications

• Experience performing Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT, ONMM).
• Ability to build long-term relationships with patients.
• Strong collaborative skills with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform medical evaluations and Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment.
• Diagnose and treat neuromusculoskeletal conditions.
• Educate patients on treatment plans.

Skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Experience with electronic health records (EHRs)

Education

Our Story
Evolutionary Healthcare began with a simple yet profound observation: the gap in care between hospitals and skilled nursing facilities was glaring. As dedicated hospitalists, we frequently admitted patients from nursing homes, and it didn’t take long for us to realize that something needed to change.

A Disconnect in Care: Upon reviewing the medical records and charts of these patients, we were struck by the stark difference in the quality of care they received in nursing homes compared to hospitals. Physicians rarely visited their patients in these facilities, and even when they did, they often struggled to remember them or truly understand their unique medical needs. Vital lab results were not consistently reviewed, and the overall management of medical conditions left much to be desired.

A Call for Accountability: Witnessing these shortcomings, we felt a moral and professional obligation to act. We recognized that skilled nursing facilities deserve a higher standard of care and accountability. It was time to bridge the gap between hospital-level care and the specialized needs of patients residing in these facilities.

And so, Evolutionary Healthcare was born.
