Job summary
Lieser Skaff, a Tampa-based business law and litigation firm, seeks a motivated Paralegal with Florida law experience to manage an active case load, oversee calendaring (including AI-generated deadlines), and support client intake. We’re looking for an organized, detail-oriented professional ready for a broad, high-impact role supporting our attorneys.
Real estate, commercial landlord-tenant, and business litigation experience preferred.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of paralegal experience in a Florida law firm.
- Experience calendaring deadlines for civil cases in Florida.
- Comfort with AI-assisted calendaring tools and verification.
- Experience supporting client intake and communications.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a large caseload.
Responsibilities
- Manage active case load from intake through resolution and billing.
- Oversee calendaring and deadlines; coordinate hearings and filings.
- Review AI-generated deadlines for accuracy against rules.
- Gather information from prospective clients for case viability.
- Draft discovery and coordinate production; Bates-stamp and index.
- Prepare and file court documents; assist at trials and hearings.
- Monitor court portals; download pleadings and file documents.
- Provide administrative support to attorneys and clients.
