Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree is required.
• State licensure in the practicing state.

Responsibilities

• Examine animals to assess health and diagnose problems.
• Treat and dress wounds.
• Perform surgery on animals.
• Test for and vaccinate against diseases.
• Operate medical equipment such as x-ray machines.
• Advise owners about care, conditions and treatments.
• Work closely with team to provide high-quality care.
