Job summary

Petroleum Marketing Group in Florence, SC seeks a friendly retail associate to deliver an exceptional customer experience. You will greet customers, operate the cash register, handle transactions, and support merchandising and daily store tasks.

This role requires reliable transportation, schedule flexibility, and the ability to lift, stand, and bend. You’ll communicate issues to management and maintain safety and cleanliness standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required or preferred.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Reliability and transportation are important.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide an exceptional experience on an ongoing basis.
• Operate cash register per PMG standards including cash handling, record keeping, lottery management, and shift paperwork.
• Execute daily store tasks with speed, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Sales Floor Merchandising/Stocking.
• Exterior/Interior Cleaning.
• Vendor Check-Ins and communication of daily issues with Management.
• Ensure PMG safety and operational excellence procedures are followed.
• Support Management with other assigned tasks.

Candidate meets and exceeds customer expectations on an ongoing basis. To ensure every customer has been provided an exceptional experience, candidate must work with their team members and provide support to Management, to complete all store level tasks related to customer service, merchandising, daily cleaning, cash register duties, and other related tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Communication of daily issues/challenges with Management
• Ensure PMG policies and procedures surrounding Safety and Operational Excellence are executed

Requirements

Education
