Job summary

Walters Hospitality is seeking a Floral Manager to lead our wedding and event floral production team, based in Buford, GA. The role requires a strong attitude and work ethic to support a busy schedule, with weddings and events on weekends.

You will manage a growing floral design team, set production goals, maintain design standards, and coordinate with operations and sales. Proficiency in Google Sheets/Docs, 2+ years in floral design, and 2+ years of managerial experience are required.

Responsibilities

• Hiring, coaching, onboarding, training Floral Design Team.
• Setting design and production goals for the team.
• Setting and enforcing design standards.
• Setting work schedules for design team.
• Educating team on profitable, executable designs.
• Hosting team meetings.
• Designing and attending open houses.
• Communicating specific needs to operations; attending BEO meetings; coordinating with Sales Manager on proposals; approving payroll; executing budget and reviewing P&L.

Our team is rapidly growing and this position provides a great opportunity to grow your career with us. On average we produce 5-10+ weddings per weekend.

SALARY

$45,000 annual plus Benefits

Requirements

• Location: Buford, GA
• Job Type: Full Time
• Hours:
• Flexible Schedules.
• Must be available to work weekends.
• Required Experience:
• 2+ years of experience in Floral Design
• 2+ years of experience as a Manager
• Proficiency in Google Sheets/Docs
• Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift at least 40+ pounds throughout the day
• Other:
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; Walters Hospitality participates in E-Verify
• Submit/complete background check; have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
