Job summary

Bachman’s Inc. is seeking a Floral Designer for a full-time position in the Minneapolis area. You will create beautiful, thoughtful arrangements for customer orders and sympathy designs, collaborating with a skilled team on a variety of floral projects.

You should have 1–2 years of floral design experience if possible, with a valid driver's license; wedding experience is a plus. The role involves standing throughout shifts and lifting up to 50 lb as needed.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of floral design experience preferred.
• Driver's license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report required.
• Wedding work experience is preferred.
• Basic reading and math skills required.
• Ability to duplicate and create arrangements and recipes at design level.
• Standing during the entire shift and ability to lift 10–30 lb (up to 50 lb occasionally).

Floral Designer Full Time Position

From custom customer orders to sympathy designs, you’ll use your floral design skills to bring each arrangement to life while collaborating with a talented team across a variety of floral and special event projects. Job Duties:

• Produce original designs to fillcustomer orders andsympathy arrangements.
• Duplicate various arrangements of different styles.
• Assist customer on the phone as directed.
• Assist other departments such as: Permanent design, weddings/special events and planter production as directed.
• Working with technology, including tablets, to record activities and arrangement components.
• Other projects as directed by supervisor.

Schedule:

• 6:00am- 2:30pm, Monday-Saturday. Rotating schedule to accommodate every other Saturday, potential for more for during seasonal peaks
• Hours will vary during season, more hours will be required during peak seasons

Compensation:

$16.50-$20.00
