Job summary

Kroger Great Lakes Distribution Center is seeking an on-site Store Associate to assist customers, design floral arrangements, package orders, and maintain department presentation. You will greet customers, answer questions, and operate the register with accuracy.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability and safety, with weekend/holiday flexibility and strong customer service expectations across a fast-paced grocery setting.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read shelf tags, signs and product labels.
• Ability to multi-task and work with all levels of staff.
• Experience in grocery retail and customer service.
• Experience operating a cash register and making change.

Responsibilities

• Assist and greet customers promptly and provide great service.
• Help design and create floral arrangements to fill orders.
• Package orders safely and efficiently.
• Maintain merchandise and supplies and assist in department decoration.
• Operate cash register following company procedures and handle orders.
• Maintain floors, signage and product rotation; ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Maintain customer records and assist in locating items for customers.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
