Qualifications

• Basic sales skills: discuss products, make recommendations, assist with in-person and phone orders.
• Prior experience in floral shop or event design is a plus, with knowledge of flower care and handling.
• Ability to stand long periods, lift materials, and assist with occasional evening or weekend events.

Responsibilities

• Design and assemble fresh flower arrangements, bouquets, centerpieces, and specialty pieces for weddings, events, and tributes.
• Select and prepare flowers, maintain floral inventory, and keep shop organized while upholding quality standards.

Role Description

The Floral Designer is a part-time, on-site role located in Lithia Springs, GA. This role is responsible for designing and assembling fresh flower arrangements, bouquets, centerpieces, and specialty pieces for a variety of occasions, including weddings, events, and sympathy tributes. Day-to-day tasks include selecting and preparing flowers, maintaining floral inventory and shop organization, and ensuring all designs meet quality and style standards.

The Floral Designer will assist with customer consultations, take and process orders, support sales efforts, and coordinate with event and funeral partners as needed. The role may also involve on-site event setup, packaging and delivery preparation, and supporting seasonal and holiday design needs.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Floral Design and Flower Arrangements skills, including experience with bouquets, centerpieces, and sympathy pieces.
• Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills, with the ability to listen, communicate clearly, and provide compassionate support for clients during sensitive occasions.
• Candidates should possess Creativity Skills, with an eye for color, texture, balance, and the ability to interpret client preferences into unique designs.
