Bear Event Design in Denver seeks an experienced Floral Manager to lead and elevate our floral department, shaping design direction while owning processes, sales outreach, and team structure.

This role goes beyond production floristry—driving design quality, growing sales, coordinating client meetings, and building a reliable staff as the department scales. Collaborate with designers and planners to deliver high‑impact floral environments across events.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional floral design experience, including events or large installations.
• Proven ability to lead floral design from concept through execution.
• Strong knowledge of floral mechanics, seasonality, stem performance, sourcing.
• Experience pricing floral recipes, labor, hard goods, and installation needs.
• Experience leading floral teams and managing vendor relationships.
• Excellent client communication and sales engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creative direction of Bear’s floral department, developing concepts, recipes, installations, and offerings aligned with Bear’s design standards.
• Collaborate with Event Designers to strengthen floral proposals and expand floral scope within events.
• Drive floral sales growth through proposal strategy, planner/vendor relationships, networking, and business development.
• Support client meetings, vendor conversations, walkthroughs, and sales opportunities as Bear’s floral expert.
• Own department profitability, estimating product, labor, hard goods, and waste.
• Oversee floral execution from proposal to post‑event review, guiding sourcing, staffing, and quality control.
• Recruit, train, and mentor floral team members toward a full‑time staff and freelance support.
• Be ready to jump in during busy periods or complex events.
