Job summary

ShopRite of Mount Pocono is seeking a Floral Department Associate to price, stock and rotate merchandise, and keep the department neat and visually appealing while performing duties in a safe, efficient manner.

You will greet customers, assist with balloons and gift wrapping, maintain attractive displays, follow department procedures, and comply with all safety and sanitation rules during shifts.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand/walk for shifts and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to interact with customers in a friendly, helpful way.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others and follow policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sanitation and QA standards in the Floral Department.
• Price, stock, rotate, and display merchandise to be attractive.
• Greet customers and assist with balloons, wrapping, and merchandising.
• Follow procedures for receiving, dating, storing, and pricing products.
• Ensure proper handling of cold storage and equipment and report issues.
