Job summary

Kroger is seeking a friendly team member for its floral and general merchandise areas in Elkhorn, NE. You will assist customers, design floral arrangements, package orders, and keep the department organized and clean.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, operating the cash register, and supporting merchandising efforts. The role requires reliable attendance, teamwork, and the ability to work weekends/holidays as needed.

• Keep floors, clean, safe, and free from clutter.
• Maintain plants, process and prepare flower arrangements and fill balloons.
• Maintain proper signage, product rotation, freshness, quantity, quality and proper space allocation for merchandise.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal laws.
• Operate cash register in accordance with company procedures, as applicable.
• Maintain flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to employment practices, and safety
• Experience in grocery retail and customer service
• Experience in operating a cash register and making change
