Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a friendly floral associate in Johns Creek, GA, to assist in designing and merchandising floral items and to respond to customer requests. You’ll provide excellent customer service, greet customers promptly, and help fill orders with attention to detail and quality.

The role supports store display and sale through careful stocking, packaging, and inventory maintenance. The position requires teamwork, reliability, and the ability to operate a cash register

• Help design and create floral arrangements and/or other items to fill customer orders.
• Package orders effectively, safely and efficiently.
• Keep merchandise and supplies in their proper areas.
• Maintain customer records and files properly.
• Assist customers in location and selecting items.
• Handle telephone calls and orders promptly and courteously.
• Assist in decorating and merchandising the department.
• Keep carts, tools, and supplies in their designated areas and well organized.
• Keep floors clean, safe, and free from clutter.
• Maintain plants, process and prepare flower arrangements and fill balloons.
• Maintain proper signage, product rotation, freshness, quantity, quality and proper space allocation for merchandise.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal laws.
• Operate cash register in accordance with company procedures, as applicable.
• Maintain flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
