Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a Floral Department Associate in Oregon to assist in designing and merchandising floral items, respond to customer requests, and provide excellent customer service. You will greet customers and help fill orders while maintaining attractive displays and accurate paperwork.

In this fast-paced grocery environment, you will support the department by packaging orders, operating the register when needed, and ensuring spaces stay organized and safe for customers

• Keep merchandise and supplies in their proper areas
• Maintain customer records and files properly

• Handle telephone calls and orders promptly and courteously
• Assist in decorating and merchandising the department
• Keep carts, tools, and supplies in their designated areas and well organized
• Keep floors, clean, safe, and free from clutter
• Maintain plants, process and prepare flower arrangements and fill balloons
• Maintain proper signage, product rotation, freshness, quantity, quality and proper space allocation for merchandise
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal laws
• Operate cash register in accordance with company procedures, as applicable
• Maintain flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
