Job summary

Floor Interior Services Corp is seeking professional Measure Technicians to perform accurate in-home flooring measurements and deliver an exceptional customer experience. This independent contractor role requires travel within the assigned service area and the ability to measure rooms, closets, stairs, and transitions while providing precise quotes using company-approved systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in flooring measurement or related fields preferred.
• Strong mathematical, measuring, and spatial reasoning skills.
• Ability to learn and use electronic measuring and quoting systems.
• Comfortable presenting pricing and speaking with customers in their homes.
• Attention to detail and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Travel to scheduled customer appointments within the assigned service area.
• Contact customers before arrival and maintain professional communication.
• Measure rooms, closets, stairs, transitions, doorways, and other areas.
• Create accurate diagrams, room layouts, measurements, photographs, and notes.
• Upload measurements, diagrams, photographs, and documentation within timelines.
• Review installation scope with the customer and provide an in-home quote.
