Job summary

West Shore Home in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Flooring Installer to join our field team. You will load materials, travel to client homes, install replacement floors and trim, and ensure a clean, professional job site.

This role requires basic hand and power-tool skills, reliability, and a customer-facing approach. Start times around 6:30 AM, Monday through Friday, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality workmanship. Compensation ranges from $18 to $24 per hour, plus benefits described.

Responsibilities

• Load materials and equipment at the warehouse by 6:30 AM.

• Keep work areas clean and protect client property.
• Collect paperwork and payment, then return to the warehouse.

Position: Flooring Installer
Location: Baltimore, MD
Schedule: Monday-Friday with a start time of 6:30 AM

Purpose of Position:

The Flooring Installer will assist in performing safe and effective installations following all Company standard operating procedures (SOPs) and PPE protocol while providing customers with a 5-star experience.

Key Role Accountabilities:

• Arrive at warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks
• Travel to customer’s home, greet them, and establish rapport
• Demo and remove existing flooring, install replacement floors, and replace trim
• Clean up thoroughly, showing care for the customer’s home
• Collect paperwork and payment, then return to warehouse

Compensation:

• The approximate hourly for this position is $18-$24 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience installing window/doors, carpentry, remodeling, construction – or a hunger to learn!
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools
• Valid Driver’s Licenseand reliable transportation
• Must have a valid smart phone or smart device in order to log into Company required systems using two-factor authentication
