Job summary

Chillicothe Carpet is seeking a dependable Flooring Installer to join our team in Chillicothe, OH. You will install carpet, LVP, laminate, hardwood, and sheet vinyl, measuring and preparing sites to ensure quality workmanship.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a background check and drug test. Uniforms are provided and you will work with the Sales Staff to deliver excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience in flooring installation preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds.
• Background check and drug test required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Uniform provided (required).

Responsibilities

• Install carpet, LVP, laminate, hardwood, and other flooring products
• Measure and prepare job sites
• Remove existing flooring when necessary
• Move and replace furniture as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Communicate professionally with customers and Sales Staff
• Ensure installations meet company quality standards
• Operate installation tools and equipment safely
• Must possess the tools and equipment needed to perform assigned duties
• Must be able to power stretch all carpet

The ideal candidate will have experience installing various flooring products, including carpet, luxury vinyl plank (LVP), laminate, hardwood, and sheet vinyl. We take pride in delivering quality workmanship and excellent customer service to every customer.
