Job summary

Eagle Health & Rehab is seeking a Part Time: Day housekeeping staff in Statesboro, GA. Starting pay is $14.70 per hour with weekly pay, and benefits including PTO, holidays, and insurance. You will maintain a clean, safe environment for patients and assist in overall site upkeep.

Responsibilities include cleaning floors and equipment, reporting repairs, and supporting the facility’s mission-driven care in a non-profit setting.

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to respond professionally to questions and concerns.

Responsibilities

Responsible for performing various tasks to provide a clean environment for our patients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Dust, sweep, mop, buff, strip, and wax floors as scheduled by supervisor.
• Clean and store equipment at the end of each shift.
• Report any needed repairs.
• Perform waste disposal procedures as required by supervisor.
• Assist in the proper care and use of housekeeping equipment.
• Promotes the image and reputation of the System by exhibiting servant leadership and providing direct and open lines of communication.
• Contributes to the work of committees, workgroups, project management, and other collaborative efforts of the System.
• Performs other duties as necessary to ensure the success of the System.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Communicates well with other associates, patients, family members, and visitors providing warm and friendly greeting and an approachable attitude. Responds to expressed concerns while displaying a helpful, caring demeanor, answers questions when appropriate in a professional manner.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

A high school diploma or its equivalent preferred.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

None.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates of the organization.
