Job summary

ESFM, the Compass Group USA division, is seeking a part-time Floor Technician at our Plainfield, IN location. The role focuses on floor maintenance, restoration, and operating industrial floor care equipment to keep facilities clean, safe, and attractive for clients.

Schedule: Friday through Monday; hours may vary. Requirements: janitorial experience and knowledge of floor care techniques and safety procedures. Pay Range: $15.00 per hour to $17.00 per hour. Applications accepted online only.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and perform stripping/refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and buffing.
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Use automated equipment for large area floor cleaning.
• Perform carpet and upholstery care including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming.
• Execute maintenance and restorative processes for all floor types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

Job Summary

Summary:Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment.

Essential Functions:
