Job summary

Crothall Healthcare is hiring a part-time Floor Technician to support multiple healthcare facilities in the Dallas area.

The role covers floor maintenance, operation of industrial floor care equipment, and related tasks. Evening shifts 6:00 PM to 12:00 AM, ~15–20 hours/week with weekends off. Training provided; travel between sites using a company vehicle is required.

Qualifications

• Prior floor care experience preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
• Ability to follow safety procedures.
• Frequent lifting, carrying and pushing up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and uses procedures for stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
• Operates various industrial floor care equipment.
• Uses automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Performs carpet and upholstery care including shampooing and extraction tasks.
• Performs maintenance and restoration for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

• We are hiring immediately for a part time multi-site FLOOR TECHNICIAN position.

• Location : Children's Health System of TX - Multi-Site, Dallas, TX 75235. No te: online applications accepted only .

• Schedule : Part Time schedule; Evening shifts 6:00 PM to 12:00 AM. Schedule may vary Monday-Friday, with Weekends Off! Approximately 15-20 hours per week. More details upon interview.

• Requirement : Prior floor care experience is preferred, not required - we will train for the position! This is a floating position responsible for supporting multiple healthcare facilities in the Dallas area. Associates will report to a designated meeting point to collect a company vehicle and travel to various assigned units, providing support where coverage is needed most. Flexibility, reliability, and the ability to work independently across multiple facilities are key to success in this role.

Job Summary

Summary: Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment.

Essential Functions:

• Maintains knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing

• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment

• Utilize automated equipment for cleaning of large area of floor surface

• Use the proper procedures on carpet and upholstering including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc.

• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types

• Other duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role preferred

• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required

• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures

• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.
