Job summary

Compass Group USA is hiring a Floor Technician at Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, FL. This full-time role runs Monday–Friday, 5:00 pm–1:30 am, with a pay range of $16–$19 per hour.

Responsibilities include floor maintenance, stripping and refinishing, burnishing, carpet care, and operating industrial floor machines. Benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.

• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

• We are hiring immediately for full time FLOOR TECHNICIAN positions.
• Location: Palm Beach Atlantic University - 901 South Flagler Drive, West Palm Beach, FL 33401. (Openings at other locations within school district available)Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full time schedule; Monday through Friday, 5:00 pm to 1:30 am. More details upon interview.(Full and Part Time with the flexibility to meet most scheduling needs)
• Requirement: Prior experience with stripping and waxing, carpet cleaning, and Terrazzo floor care.
• Pay Range: $16.00per hour to$19.00 per hour.
