Job summary

Crothall Healthcare is hiring immediately for a full-time Floor Technician at Ochsner Saint Mary in Shreveport, LA. No experience is required; training will be provided. Schedule may include weekends and holidays with rotating shifts. Pay is $15.00 per hour, with full-time and part-time positions available.

The Floor Technician will maintain hard-surface floors, operate floor care equipment, and perform carpet and upholstery cleaning, following safety procedures and company standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or related role preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and proper procedures.
• Operates industrial floor care equipment.
• Uses automated equipment for cleaning large areas of floor surface.
• Performs carpet and upholstery cleaning as described.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

Job Summary

Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment.

Essential Functions

• Maintains knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment
• Utilize automated equipment for cleaning of large area of floor surface
• Use the proper procedures on carpet and upholstering including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc.
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types
• Other duties as assigned by manager
