Job summary

ESFM USA, at Qualcomm, Santa Clara, CA, is hiring a Floor Technician for a full-time evening shift (Mon–Fri, 5:00 pm–1:30 am). You will perform floor maintenance, operate industrial equipment, and ensure safe, high-quality results across hard floors and carpets.

Experience with floor care equipment, safety procedures, and physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs is required. Competitive pay ranges from $23.00 to $23.85 per hour with benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hard-surface floor care including stripping, refinishing, burnishing, and spray buffing.
• Operate industrial floor care equipment and automate cleaning for large areas.
• Perform carpet and upholstery care such as shampooing and spot cleaning.
• Carry out maintenance and restorative processes for floor surfaces.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by management.

Job Summary

Summary: Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment.

Essential Functions:

• Maintains knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment
• Utilize automated equipment for cleaning of large area of floor surface
• Use the proper procedures on carpet and upholstering including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc.
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types
• Other duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role preferred
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.
