Job description

We are hiring immediately for full‑time FLOOR TECHNICIAN positions at Nacogdoches Medical Center (4920 Northeast Stallings Drive, Nacogdoches, TX 75965). Schedule: full‑time; days may vary, third shift. Previous customer service experience is required. Fixed pay rate: $15.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and operation of industrial floor care equipment.

Essential Functions

• Maintains knowledge of principles of hard‑surface floor maintenance and uses proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
• Operates various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Utilizes automated equipment for cleaning large areas of floor surface.
• Uses proper procedures on carpet and upholstery including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc.
• Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.
