Flik Hospitality in Saint Louis, MO is seeking a Floor Technician for a full-time night shift. The role focuses on floor maintenance, restoration, and operating industrial floor care equipment across large areas.

Essential duties include stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, carpet care, and maintenance of all floor surface types. Lifting up to 50 lbs and safety procedures are required.

Formación

• Previous floor care experience preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Maintains knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and uses proper procedures (stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, spray buffing).
• Operates various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Uses automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Performs carpet and upholstery care including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming.
• Performs maintenance and restoration for all floor surface types.
• Performs other duties as assigned by manager.

• We are hiring immediately for a full time FLOOR TECHNICIAN position.
• Location: Washington University St. Louis - One Brookings Drive, Suite 1194, Saint Louis, MO 63130. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full time schedule. Sunday through Thursday; 8:00 pm to 4:00 am. Further details upon interview.
• Requirement: Previous floor care experience preferred.
  *Internal Employee Referral Bonus Available
• Fixed Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary:Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment.

Essential Functions:

• Maintains knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment
• Utilize automated equipment for cleaning of large area of floor surface
• Use the proper procedures on carpet and upholstering including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc.
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types
• Other duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role preferred
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.
