Crothall Healthcare is hiring a Floor Technician in Metairie, LA to perform floor maintenance and operate industrial floor care equipment at the Ochsner Clearview facility. The role requires experience with floor care and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

The position is full-time with a schedule of evenings, offering the opportunity to contribute to a leading healthcare support team and be part of a national environmental services provider.

Qualifications

• Previous floor care experience preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and uses proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment
• Utilize automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas
• Use proper procedures on carpet and upholstery including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types
• Other duties as assigned by manager

• We are hiring immediately for full time FLOOR TECHNICIAN positions.
• Location: Ochsner Clearview - 4430 Veterans Memorial Boulevard, Metairie, LA 7006. Note: online applications accepted only.

• Requirement: Prior floor care experience preferred.
• Fixed Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment.
