Job summary

Crothall Healthcare, part of Compass Group, is hiring a Floor Technician for Marion, IN. The role focuses on floor maintenance, restoration, and operation of industrial floor care equipment.

Qualifications include knowledge of floor care techniques, adherence to safety procedures, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Training is provided as needed; no prior experience required.

Qualifications

• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of floor surfaces and restoration work.
• Operate industrial floor care equipment.
• Use automated equipment for large floor areas.
• Carpet and upholstery maintenance including shampooing and extraction.
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

• We are hiring immediately for full time FLOOR TECHNICIAN positions.
• Location: Marion General Hospital - 441 North Wabash Avenue, Marion, IN 46952.
• Schedule: Full time schedule. Monday - Friday, 5:00 pm - 2:30 am (could be different when floor work requires it). Further details upon interview.
• Requirement: No experience necessary. Willing to train!
• Fixed Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary:Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment.

Essential Functions:

• Maintains knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment
• Utilize automated equipment for cleaning of large area of floor surface
• Use the proper procedures on carpet and upholstering including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc.
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types
• Other duties as assigned by manager
