Job summary

TouchPoint is hiring a Floor Technician in Kokomo, IN for a full-time role. The position requires prior floor tech experience and offers a hourly wage of $22.00 with standard job duties focused on floor maintenance and restoration.

The successful candidate will operate industrial floor care equipment and handle carpet and upholstery tasks while following safety procedures. Schedule is Monday–Friday with varying hours and rotating weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and uses procedures for stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and buffing.
• Operates various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Uses automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Performs carpet and upholstery care incl. shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming.
• Performs maintenance and restoration for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

Essential Functions
