Job description

Job Summary

Floor Technician – Memorial Hermann Northeast, 18951 Memorial North, Humble, TX 77338. This full‑time position requires a 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm schedule, with possible day variations. Fixed pay rate is $16.00 per hour. Applications are accepted online only.

Essential Functions

• Maintain knowledge of hard‑surface floor maintenance principles and apply proper procedures for stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Utilize automated equipment to clean large floor areas.
• Apply proper procedures on carpet and upholstery, including shampooing, damp surface cleaning, extractions, spot cleaning, and vacuuming.
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of floor care experience; prior floor care technician experience preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
• Ability to follow safety procedures.
• Physical capability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Florida Level 2 background screening may be required for certain positions.
