Job summary

Compass Group USA at the Nestle site in Glendale, AZ, is seeking a full-time Floor Technician to maintain and restore floors and operate industrial floor care equipment. Schedule varies, with days and hours, and training is provided.

The role requires janitorial/floor care experience, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a fixed pay rate of $18.50 per hour. Benefits are included for full-time associates.

Qualifications

• Previous floor care technician experience preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and uses proper procedures for stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
• Operates various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Utilizes automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Cleans carpet and upholstery including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming.
• Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

Job Summary

Summary:Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment.

Essential Functions:

• Other duties as assigned by manager
