A leading facilities management company is hiring a Floor Technician responsible for floor maintenance and restoration at The Hospitals Of Providence East Campus in El Paso, TX. The ideal candidate will have experience with floor care equipment and techniques. This role includes operating industrial equipment and performing carpet care. Full-time positions offer benefits, and training will be provided for new hires. A commitment to safety and physical capability for lifting is required.

Qualificações

Job Title: Floor Technician

Location: The Hospitals Of Providence East Campus, 3280 Joe Battle Boulevard, El Paso, TX 79938

Schedule: Full time; days/hours may vary. Rotating weekends. 2nd shift. More details upon interview.

Requirement: Prior experience as a floor technician is preferred.

Pay: $13.00 per hour

Job Summary

Summary: Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment.

Essential Functions

• Maintains knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and uses proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing
• Operates various types of industrial floor care equipment
• Utilizes automated equipment for cleaning large areas of floor surface
• Performs carpet and upholstery care including shampooing, damp cleaning, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc.
• Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types
• Other duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in a related role preferred
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs
