Job summary

Crothall Healthcare is hiring a Floor Technician for Texas Health Denton, TX. The role focuses on floor maintenance, restoration, and operation of industrial floor care equipment to keep facilities safe and clean.

The position is full-time with a 5:00 pm to 1:30 am shift and rotating weekends. Prior floor care experience is required; opportunities exist to grow within a leading healthcare support services provider.

Qualifications

• Previous floor care experience preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and uses proper procedures for stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
• Operates various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Utilizes automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Performs carpet and upholstery care including shampooing, damp surface cleaning, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming.
• Performs maintenance and restoration for all floor surface types.
• Performs other duties as assigned by manager.

• Location : Texas Health Denton - 3000 North Interstate 35, Denton, TX 76201. Note: online applications accepted only .

• Schedule : Full time schedule; open availability required. 5:0 pm to 1:30 am, rotating weekends. Days may vary. Further details upon interview.

• Requirement : Prior floor care experience required.

• Pay Range: $20.00 per hour to $21.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment.

Essential Functions

• Maintains knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing

• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment

• Utilize automated equipment for cleaning of large area of floor surface

• Use the proper procedures on carpet and upholstering including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc.

• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types

• Other duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role preferred

• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required

• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures

• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.
