Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring a Floor Technician in Houston, TX. The role covers floor maintenance and operation of industrial floor care equipment, with a focus on hard surfaces and carpeting, and requires prior floor cleaning experience.

Schedule is full or part time, Tuesday through Saturday, with pay ranging from $15.00 to $15.50 per hour. Benefits include retirement plans and health programs; applicants must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and procedures on hard floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment
• Utilize automated equipment for cleaning of large area of floor surface
• Use proper procedures on carpet and upholstery including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types
• Other duties as assigned by manager

Job Summary

Summary:Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment.

Essential Functions:

• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.
