Job summary

Forefront is seeking a Floor Technician to maintain the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of facility floors, including stripping, waxing, buffing, and routine maintenance. You will support housekeeping and assist Supervisors to uphold departmental standards and operational efficiency.

This full-time hourly role includes attention to infection prevention, safety protocols, and accurate documentation. The position may require extended hours based on needs and pays $14.00 per hour.

Position Summary

The Floor Technician is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of facility floors, including stripping, waxing, buffing, and routine floor maintenance. The Floor Technician also supports housekeeping operations as needed and assists Supervisors and Managers in maintaining departmental standards and operational efficiency.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

• This is an full time hourly, non-exempt position. Extended hours may be necessary based on operational needs.
• Pay Rate: $14.00/HR

Essential Functions And Duties

• Perform daily floor care, including sweeping, mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, and polishing as assigned.

General Responsibility As Required For Position

• Responsible for acting in conformance with all facility and departmental policies and procedures including those relating to Human Resources, Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, Health and Safety regulations, Compliance requirements, Patient Rights, Confidentiality, and HIPAA. Responsible for acting in conformance with accrediting agency standards.
• Attends department meetings as required.
• Demonstrates accountability to accept responsibility for personal/professional growth and any required certification/licenses, if applicable.
• Completes mandatory training and competencies annually.
