Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Floor Technician at Milwaukee School of Engineering to deliver high-quality floor cleaning and maintenance across varying shifts. This part-time role offers a competitive $18.00–$18.50 per hour pay, opportunities for training, and benefits where applicable.

You will operate floor care equipment, clean carpets, and help maintain clean, safe facilities. The ideal candidate has at least 12 months of related experience, is reliable, team-oriented, and ready to support a healthy

Qualifications

• 12 months of related work experience preferred.
• Experience with floor care equipment and all phases of floor and carpet care preferred.
• Team-oriented and reliable with a proactive safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, buff, polish, scrub, strip and refinish hard-surface floors using heavy equipment.
• Vacuum, spot clean and extract carpeted floor surfaces.
• May clean furniture and empty trash, linen, and garbage containers.
• May wash walls and maintain baseboards and cove base molding.
• May assist in training other employees.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
