Job summary

Brentwood Health Center in Waynesboro, GA is seeking a dedicated Floor Technician to maintain clean, safe resident areas. You will scrub, polish and care for flooring across carpeted and hard surfaces while supporting housekeeping tasks.

Responsibilities include routine cleaning of rooms, halls and common areas, restocking supplies, and promptly reporting maintenance or safety concerns. Healthcare setting experience is a plus; benefits are competitive and include health plans and PTO.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or custodial work preferred (healthcare or hospitality setting a plus).
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning tools is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for cleaning carpeted and hardwood flooring.
• Scrubbing, polishing and waxing floors of all types.
• Perform routine and deep cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, and facility hallways to maintain a hygienic, presentable environment.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish surfaces according to schedules and protocols.
• Replenish supplies in designated areas.
• Dispose of trash and soiled linens according to infection control procedures.
• Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly to the appropriate department.
• Duties as assigned.
