Job summary

Total Cleaning in Fort Lauderdale, FL seeks a Floor Technician with janitorial experience to join our dedicated team. This entry-point role offers hands-on training across floor care methods and a flexible, night-shift schedule.

Job duties include waxing and stripping floors, cleaning tile and carpets, applying chemicals per procedure, and maintaining safety while working in a warehouse setting. You will report to work on a schedule that can include weekends, with opportunities to learn and grow

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of floor technician experience.
• Flexible availability (days, weekends, on call).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities.
• Detail-oriented and meticulous.
• Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
• Must pass a Background Check.
• Must pass Drug Test.

Responsibilities

Job Skills / Requirements

START IMMEDIATELY - Floor Technician with Janitorial Experience.

This position requires Night Shifts with a flexible schedule, including some weekends, varying shift times, and occasional long hours. Most importantly, we are looking for someone with a strong desire to learn and grow in the field of Floor Care. This role offers hands-on training and exposure to multiple floor care methods and systems, making it an excellent entry point into a long-term career as a professional floor technician.

START IMMEDIATELY - Schedule and Location: Fort Lauderdale-

Three (3) weeks per month from 6:00 PM to 3:30 AM (warehouse-based).

One (1) week per month (urgent care): 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM (warehouse-based).

Occasional open schedule shifts on weekends (Saturdays, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM), depending on business needs.

What You'll Do:

• Capable of working on your feet for long periods and performing repetitive physical tasks.
