Trilogy Health Services is hiring a Floor Technician for Shelbyville, KY. The role focuses on daily Environmental Services tasks in a long-term care facility, ensuring floors are cleaned and maintained according to standards.

You will perform floor cleaning, carpet care, wall/ceiling cleaning, and follow safety guidelines. The position supports resident care by maintaining a clean, safe environment within a reputable senior living community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED/HSE preferred.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning floors to include sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, disinfecting.
• Ensuring that proper safety signs are set up prior to performing floor cleaning activities.
• Clean carpets, to include vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing, and disinfecting.
• Clean walls and ceilings by washing, wiping, dusting, spot cleaning, disinfecting, deodorizing.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Floor Technician is primarily responsible to perform the day-to-day activities of the Environmental Services Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing our facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning floors to include, sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, disinfecting, etc.
