Job summary

Bob Mills Furniture is seeking a Floor Technician to work closely with the Store Decorator, prepping, assembling, and arranging new merchandise for the showroom floor. You will remove sold items promptly and help refresh displays to inspire customers.

The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, with prior showroom or furniture assembly experience and a High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Pull product from the warehouse and prepare it for showroom floor placement.
• Collaborate with the Decorator to arrange furniture and accessories in an attractive, stylish, and customer-friendly way.
• Maintain lighting for showroom displays, including adjusting light angles and replacing bulbs as needed.
• Ensure all floor merchandise is accurately tagged and priced.
• Unbox, inspect, and assemble new products for display.
• Remove sold merchandise from the showroom floor in a timely manner.
• Support Decorator and Buyers in executing floor updates and resets on schedule.
