Job summary

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is hiring Floor Techs in Memphis. The role includes cleaning, carpet care, stripping and waxing, and general janitorial duties. You will operate floor care equipment and follow safety procedures to protect yourself and coworkers.

Starting pay is $14.98 per hour. Experience is preferred but not required. Training and safety guidelines are provided, with benefits available for part-time and full-time employees.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.
• Must be able to lift and move objects up to 49 pounds and perform repetitive tasks.
• Dexterity in hand/eye coordination and use of cleaning tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform spot removal, extraction, bonnet cleaning, strip/wax, scrub/recoat, seal/grout as assigned.
• Clean floors and stairways by sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Move large furniture and objects, follow safety guidelines, report repairs or hazards.
• Keep janitor closet neat and organized and follow chemical handling procedures.
• Follow company policies and perform other duties as assigned.
