Job summary

Archway Transitional Care in Macon, GA, is seeking a dedicated housekeeping aide to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff. You will dust, sweep, mop, buff and wax floors, clean and store equipment, and report repairs as needed while upholding the facility’s compassionate, patient-centered approach.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliable communication, and adherence to safety rules; prior housekeeping or healthcare experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read safety rules and operate maintenance manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Dust, sweep, mop, buff, strip, and wax floors as scheduled by supervisor.
• Clean and store equipment at the end of each shift.
• Report any needed repairs.
• Perform waste disposal procedures as required.
• Assist in the proper care and use of housekeeping equipment.
• Promotes the image and reputation of the System by exhibiting servant leadership and providing direct and open lines of communication.
