Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a reliable Tech to maintain and upkeep carpet and hard surface floors at our Colorado Springs site. The role operates during the 6pm-2:30am shift (Sunday-Thursday) with a hourly pay of $19. ABM offers a comprehensive benefits package and emphasizes a veteran-friendly workplace.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• On-the-job training provided; no prior experience required.
• Ability to work 6pm-2:30am shift.
• Reliable and able to maintain floors and facilities.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain buildings/facilities.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
• Notify Manager concerning repairs or additions to building operating systems.
• Establish and maintain effective communication with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.
• Comply with safety, security, quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities.
• Clean and dust furniture, fixtures, floors, ceilings, walls, machines, and equipment.
• Move cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates and equipment to clean areas manually or with hand trucks.
• Clean interior glass, windows, partitions, and mirrors using cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
• Wash and replace blinds.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Sweep walks, rake leaves, cut grass, remove snow or perform seasonal tasks.
• Wipe and clean tabletops, chairs, and equipment in food areas.
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms.

Shift: 6pm-2:30am Sunday- Thursday

Payrate: $19.00 Hourly

• Sweep walks, rake leaves, cut grass, remove snow or perform other incidental seasonal tasks
• Wipe and clean tabletops, chairs, and equipment in food areas
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms

Qualifications

Required:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must meet all requirements to receive approval for working in specific ATS environments (if applicable), including ten-year work history if available
• No experience required and on the job training provided
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required

Preferred:

• Customer service experience
• 1 year of similar work experience
