Job summary

Springbrook Behavioral Health Systems is seeking a dedicated EVS floor care worker in a hospital setting. The role involves cleaning and maintaining floors throughout the facility, following set instructions, and ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.

The position requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods, plus six months of EVS experience. A high school diploma or GED is preferred but not mandatory.

Job description

EDUCATION AND TRAINING: Must be able to communicate, understand and follow instructions. High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred but not required.

EXPERIENCE: Six (6) months experience in EVS facility floor care required. Experience working in hospitals preferred.

PHYSICAL: Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time. Ability to lift and carry supplies.

SPECIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to work around and among mentally disturbed persons. Willingness to perform a variety of repetitive tasks on a continuous basis to maintain flow of work.

ENVIRONMENT: Will be working throughout the facility which is climate controlled. Noise may be minimal to high depending on activity/equipment being used.
