Job summary

Hobby Lobby is seeking a diligent cleaner/floor tech to perform carpet and hard floor maintenance on site. The role involves bending, lifting heavy items, and operating floor cleaning equipment while maintaining a tidy store environment for customers and staff.

You will be involved in vacuuming, mopping, polishing and general floor care, with opportunities to learn new methods and equipment. Reliability and a strong work ethic are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Physical work required with bending, lifting and related tasks.
• Floor tech experience and knowledge of operating floor equipment preferred.
• Lifting heavy containers of wax and cleaning chemicals is required.
• Carpet and tile floor work is required.
• Vacuuming and cleaning carpets and rugs.
• Sweeping, vacuuming, polishing and mopping hard floors.
• Willing to learn new cleaning methods and how to use various pieces of equipment.
• Ability to adapt and change work processes to meet customer needs.
• Reliability and a strong work ethic are required.
