Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Floor Tech to maintain clean and presentable floors in a long-term care facility. You will operate floor care equipment, buff and refinish floors, and uphold infection control standards while delivering friendly service to residents and staff.

The position offers hands-on training and opportunities for career development; a high school diploma is preferred and lifting up to 50 pounds is required. Residency within the service area is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous floor care experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Must communicate effectively with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform floor care tasks, including cleaning, buffing, and refinishing floors.
• Operate floor care equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of floor care activities and report issues.
• Follow infection control policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Provide positive interactions with residents, staff, and guests.
• All other duties as assigned.
