Job summary

Hobby Lobby is seeking a hands-on Floor Technician to perform floor care across our facilities in Oklahoma City. The role involves physical work, bending and lifting, with a preference for candidates who have Floor Tech experience and knowledge of floor equipment.

You will vacuum, mop and polish carpets and hard floors, and help maintain a clean store environment. A strong work ethic and adaptability are essential.

Qualifications

• Physical work required with bending and lifting.
• Floor tech experience and knowledge of operating floor equipment preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy containers of wax and cleaning chemicals.
• Carpet and tile floor work required; vacuuming and cleaning carpets and rugs.
• Willing to learn new cleaning methods and how to use various equipment.
• Ability to adapt and change work processes to accommodate customer needs.
• Reliability and strong work ethic required.

Responsibilities

• Perform floor care including carpet and hard floor cleaning, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping and polishing.
• Operate floor equipment and maintain cleanliness of work areas.
• Learn and apply new cleaning methods and equipment as needed.
