Job summary

Stellar Senior Living’s Montevista at Coronado is seeking a reliable Floor Tech/Housekeeper to maintain clean living areas for residents in a large senior living community in El Paso, TX. You will help keep floors clean, assist with routine housekeeping, and ensure safety and respect in all interactions with residents.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, punctuality, and the ability to adapt to changing needs within a vibrant care setting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in house, office or hotel cleaning.
• Ability to follow cleaning products instructions.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• A record of punctuality and reliability.
• Experience with carpet cleaning machinery.
• Ability to adapt to changes as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a stocked cleaning cart with needed items.
• Maintain common area floors and rooms cleaned as needed using carpet cleaning machinery and floor waxing and mopping.
• Demonstrates knowledge of and respect for the rights, dignity, and individuality of each resident in all interactions.
• Cleans assigned resident apartments and common areas daily according to facility procedures.
• Respects resident’s privacy and preferences about room arrangement; seeks resident input on cleaning methods when reasonable.
• Disposes of trash and waste in a safe manner following precautions for contaminated materials.

Job Description

Our Floor Tech and housekeepers keep our residents living areas clean and serviced to high standards. You should also be able to resolve resident complaint and queries promptly and in a polite manner. You are the right candidate if you are pleasant, detail-oriented and friendly.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a stocked cleaning cart with needed items.
• Maintain common area floors and rooms cleaned as needed. Using carpet cleaning machinery and floor waxing and mopping as needed.
• Demonstrates knowledge of and respect for the rights, dignity, and individuality of each resident in all interactions.
• Cleans (dust, dry mop, wet mop, sanitize, scrub) assigned resident apartments and common areas daily according to facility procedures.
• Respects resident’s privacy and preferences about room arrangement, personal items. input on preferred Knocks before entering resident areas. Seeks resident cleaning methods within reason.
• Disposes of trash and waste, other materials in a safe manner using identified precautions for any contaminated materials.
