Job summary

PruittHealth in Durham, NC is seeking a maintenance worker to support a clean environment for patients. This role involves essential housekeeping tasks and ensuring equipment is safe and ready for use.

The position is part-time on the 2nd shift with on-site work. On-the-job training is provided, and prior healthcare cleaning experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• On-the-job training provided.
• Experience with cleaning products, procedures, equipment and healthcare field preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Dust, sweep, mop, buff, strip, and wash floors as scheduled by supervisor.
• Clean and store equipment at the end of each shift.
• Report any needed repairs.
• Perform waste disposal procedures as required by supervisor.
• Assist in the proper care and use of housekeeping equipment.
