Job summary

PruittHealth Ridgeway is seeking a diligent Maintenance staff member to keep patient areas clean and safe. You will perform routine cleaning tasks, operate housekeeping equipment, and ensure waste disposal procedures are followed.

On-the-job training is provided; a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and prior experience with cleaning products and healthcare facilities is a plus. This is a full-time, 1st shift position at our Ridgeway location.

Qualifications

• Experience with cleaning products, procedures, equipment and healthcare field preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Dust, sweep, mop, buff, strip, and wash floors as scheduled by supervisor.
• Clean and store equipment at the end of each shift.
• Report any needed repairs.
• Perform waste disposal procedures as required by supervisor.
• Assist in the proper care and use of housekeeping equipment.
